Thomas Grant Drive Pool 

Located at 7550 Thomas Grant Drive is open to all Residents and Guests:

  • The Thomas Grant Drive Pool is 41′ x 82′; starts at 2 1/2′ and goes to 5′ deep and a dedicated lap lane is roped off all season.
  • The separate fenced-in baby pool is 10′ x 20′ and goes from 12″ to 18″ deep.
  • Swimming Lessons can be contracted directly with the Life Guard Company.
  • The Thomas Grant Drive Pool is co-located with the Clubhouse.

    Saturday, Sunday & Holidays: 11:00am to 8:00pm

Haynes Point Way Pool 

Located at 7700 Haynes Point Way is open to all Residents and Guests:

  • The Haynes Point Way Pool is 28′ (38′ at the bump-out) x 50′; starts at 3′ and goes to 5′ deep.
  • Swim Lessons are contracted directly with the Life Guard Company.

    Friday: 4:00pm to 8:00pm
    Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am to 8:00pm

    Main Season – 6/13/2025 to 9/1/2025
    Monday to Thursday: 11:00am to 8:00pm
    Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Holidays: 11:00am to 8:00pm

After you submit the registration form, you will receive an email with next step instructions. Please see below verification dates:

Show up to the Island Creek Community Clubhouse located at 7550 Thomas Grant Drive, Alexandria, VA 22315 during one of the dates/times listed below WITH ALL OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS to verify your identity. Anyone over the age of 18 must provide a photo ID or proof of residency. Tenants must provide a copy of their lease agreement with the end date listed; no privilege transfer from the landlord is needed.

Sunday 5/18/2025 – 11:00am to 1:00pm

Monday 5/19/2025 – 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Tuesday 5/20/2025 – 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Wednesday 5/21/2025 – 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Friday 5/23/2025 – 6:00pm to 8:00pm

A board member or management volunteer will double check your identity with the photos on the Membersplash portal. Please note anyone with delinquent dues or in collections will not be granted access until assessments have been paid.

 

Once you have been confirmed and your membership status has been marked as “paid”, your membership is ready to go. When you go to the pool during the season, all you need to do is provide the lifeguard staff on duty with your name or address.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have to provide my photo?

In years past, we have experienced issues with outside individuals using Island creek residents’ names and addresses to obtain access to the pool. This photo requirement was added in order to prevent that liability and to help maintain accurate check-in data.

How many guest passes do I get?

Each household gets 50 complimentary guest visits per season. Each visit allows up to 5 guests at a time for the Thomas Grant Drive Pool and 2 guests at a time for the Haynes Point Way Pool. If you run out of passes, please reach out to management at [email protected].
